MEXICO — Bonnie Sparks, executive director of the University College, announces the hiring of Lisa MacDonald Cooper as director of the University College centers in Norway/South Paris and Rumford/Mexico.

Cooper has experience in marketing, project administration, communication, strategic planning and post-secondary teaching. A native of Scarborough, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Bates College and a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Most recently, she served as CMCC director of the Western Maine University and the Community College center in South Paris.

She resides in Buckfield with her husband and children.
