LEWISTON – The Maine Public Broadcasting Network is soliciting donations for The MPBN Great TV Auction and its fourth annual juried fine art and craft exhibition. They will be held in April at the Art Gallery, University of New England on the Westbrook College campus in Portland.

Submissions of original works of art in any medium are sought for Studio Connections: Artists Supporting MPBN, an exhibition that will be on view from April 3 through May 1, 2005. An opening reception will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. April 3 at the Art Gallery, 716 Stevens Ave., Portland. Artwork for the exhibition must be submitted to MPBN no later than March 15.

The exhibition will be a chance to see and pre-bid on works that will be auctioned April 30 as part of The MBPN Great TV Auction.
