 Rugged rocket reporter: NBC correspondent Jay Barbree is the only journalist to have covered every U.S. space mission, from Alan Shepard’s in 1961 through the latest space-shuttle launches, over 150 to date. Next July, he will celebrate his 50th anniversary covering NASA launches for NBC.
