In Other Words: Our trivia pal Ken Clark of Kent, Wash., has investigated rare English three-letter sequences. In other words, three consecutive letters that are found in only one word. Among his interesting finds are the unique OLN (coolness), DSY (sudsy), OSL (gosling), WCO (newcomer), AOK (karaoke), FWA (halfway), and MDI (humdinger).

n Matching-initial update: To our list of films with two stars having the same initials, we add “Hercules in New York” (1970), whose two leads were Arnold Schwarzenegger (in his first film, as the title character) and Arnold Stang, as a pretzel salesman who befriends Hercules. Schwarzegger was originaly billed as “Arnold Strong” for the film.
