PORTLAND, Maine (AP) A Limington man is being held on $100,000 cash bail following his arrest in connection with a string of residential break-ins in Raymond and Casco.

The Portland Press Herald said 32-year-old Derek Schultz was arrested Wednesday and charged with four counts of burglary and four counts of theft.

Schultz is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

The Portland Press Herald said the investigation began in May 2007 when an undercover detective from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office posed as an antiques and collectibles dealer.

The sheriff’s office said detectives seized several stolen items Wednesday during a search of Schultz’s house.
