SANGERVILLE, Maine (AP) — A 49-year-old Sangerville man whose wife runs a day care center out of their home is free on bail following his arrest for allegedly possessing child pornography on his computer.

A prosecutor told the Bangor Daily News it does not appear that children in Kreative Kids Day Care are victims because Larry Daggett obtained the sexually explicit materials over the Internet.

Sgt. Glenn Lang of the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit said Daggett’s Internet address had been under scrutiny since fall. Lang said his unit has a list of more than 200 people believed to be involved in child pornography, but the resources available to investigators are limited.
