Oxford police were involved in a high-speed chase around 3 a.m. Friday that ended when the driver crashed into a house, according to Chief John Tibbetts. After the crash, “he ran.”
The driver was apprehended later. Neither he nor anyone in the home were injured, Tibbetts said. A name and charges weren’t yet available. According to a witness at the scene, the car rammed a house on Spurr’s Corner in Otisfield. More details to follow Friday afternoon.
