LEWISTON —The Lewiston Maineiacs hit the ice Sunday afternoon for their first home preseason game of the 2009-10 season.

In their first game, Saturday night in Drummondville, the Maineiacs got goals from Steeven Jacques and Stefan Fournier, but fell 8-2 while defending 13 power plays to just eight on their end. A veteran-laden lineup is in the house tonight at the ABC, with Adrien lemay scheduled to play at least a period and a half in net. The top two lines tonight are likely team members for the upcoming season.
