Lamb family

RICHMOND — The 79th annual meeting of the descendants of James Lamb, clan of Lamont, was held at the home of Gordon and Ruth Sherman on Aug. 16.

The oldest member present was Joyce Lamb and the youngest member, Morgan Chadwick. Joyce Lamb traveled the greatest distance. It was voted to have the same slate of officers for two years: president, Ruth Sherman; vice president, Georgia L. Hersey; and secretary/treasurer, Jeanne L. Whittemore. A potluck dinner and auction were held.

Plans were made to have the 80th reunion in Rangeley next year.
