Ashley Uhuad, daughter of Gene and Cheryl Uhuad of Jay, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of New England.

 A recent graduate of UNE, Uhuad majored in medical biology and graduated magna cum laude. She plans to attend the New York Institute of Technology where she will pursue her master’s degree in physician assistant studies.

Her sister, Kristen Uhuad, has also been named to the dean’s list at the university. She is a recent graduate and majored in medical biology, graduating magna cum laude.

Dean’s list students have attained a grade point average of 3.30 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.
