DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Historical Society invites all River Valley flower and plant enthusiasts to bring their flowers or plants to the historical society at 81 Main St. between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, to place on display.

Display categories are: single flower, miniature bouquet under four inches, bouquet of wild flowers, bouquet of garden flowers, house plant and child’s bouquet (age 12 and under).

Ribbons will be presented to the first-, second- and third-place and honorable mention winners in each flower category. A people’s choice award and a best of show award will also be presented.
