LISBON — A 26-year-old Portland driver, Erik Poulin escaped apparent injury Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on Route 196.
Poulin was driving west on Route 196 shortly before 11:30 a.m. when his pickup truck skidded out of control due to slippery road conditions, crossed the opposite lane, and struck some small trees and went into the ditch, according to the investigating officer Jeff Williams. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to his 2001 Ford Ranger pickup.
