Chad Porter, a rising star in Maine,  will perform Saturday, March 27, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Holly’s, 84 Court St., Auburn. Chad has developed his rock/country/blues style through years of a long, hard nonregretful childhood. Growing up on the Opportunity Farm for Boys in New Gloucester, Chad found music, and took it under his arm becoming an accomplished musician. Chad now lives  in the Portland area and performs his music all over the state.
