RUMFORD — A benefit dinner and dance for Aaron Jackson will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 8, at the Rumford Eagles banquet hall. Jackson died unexpectedly on March 22. All donations raised will go toward funeral costs.

The cost will be $5 a person at the door. Dinner will include spaghetti and homemade meatballs, salad, garlic knots and a variety of homemade desserts donated by friends and family.

Following dinner there will be live entertainment by Smith Crossing and Stereo Type from 6 p.m. to closing.

There will also be a Chinese auction, with items donated by local businesses, and a 50/50.
