Plant sale

FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks School Neighborhood Association will host a plant and yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Fairbanks School Meeting House, Route 4, Fairbanks Road. If case of rain, the event will be postponed to another date.

Dance

EAST LIVERMORE — The New Norlands Grange will host a country dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the hall, on River Road off Route 133 in East Livermore. The Silver and Gold Band will play. Cost is $5. There will also be a 50/50 drawing.

Retired educators

JAY — The Franklin County Unit Retired Educators will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, June 21, at LaFleur’s Restaurant, Route 4. Helen Wilkey will present a program about her lily gardens. A meeting and lunch will follow the program. All retired educators are welcome. For more information, call 778-4282.

Rabies clinic

SALEM — A rabies vaccine clinic will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Salem Fire Department. Cost is $9 each animal. The vaccine will be good for one year unless owner has proof of a previous rabies vaccine, then it will be good for three years.
