Every year, Community Credit Union participates in the Maine Credit Union League’s Ending Hunger initiative. A portion of the money raised by each participating credit union is given back to that credit union to be distributed to hunger organizations in the community. Community Credit union, with branches in Lewiston and Auburn, recently presented a check in the amount of $500 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maine Auburn/Lewiston clubhouse. The donation will help the club continue its healthy lifestyles program. Shown with a replica of the check are, from left: Andie Hannon, unit director of Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maine’s Auburn/Lewiston clubhouse; Rebecca Branagan, branch operations assistant and Ending Hunger representative for Community Credit Union; and Jennifer Hogan, marketing/business development director for Community Credit Union.
