Bible school
OTISFIELD — Children from ages 4 through sixth grade are invited to attend a Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. July 26 to 30, at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, Rayville Road.
The program is titled “Praise Party: Worshipping God with Head, Heart, Hands, Feet and Soul.” Each session will include a Bible story time, activities, crafts and a healthy snack time. All are encouraged to attend.
Preregistration is necessary by July 22. If interested, call 539-2241 or 627-3126. The Spurrs Corner Alliance Church will also hold Vacation Bible School from Aug. 10 to 15. Contact the church for more information. Children who wish may participate in both programs.
Town trip
HARRISON — The Harrison Town Office will sponsor a trip to Cabbage Island in Linekin Bay, Boothbay Harbor, on Wednesday, Aug. 18. Cost is $77, which includes coach bus, boat ride and clam bake. Cost for Harrison residents is $67.
Participants will leave the town office at 8 a.m. and arrive back at 7 p.m.
A $30 nonrefundable deposit is due at sign up and the balance is due by Friday, Aug. 13. Seating is limited. Stop by the town office to register or contact Paula Holt at 583-2241.
Class reunion
OXFORD — The Oxford Hills High School Class of 1980 will have a 30th class reunion on Saturday, Aug. 14. Classmates are invited to the Switser-Littlefield home in Oxford for a family-friendly afternoon. Attendees should bring a picnic, chairs and water toys.
An evening event will be at Four Seasons Function Center, Main Street, South Paris. Social hour will begin at 4:30 p.m.; buffet dinner at 6; announcements, awards and presentations at 7; entertainment, karaoke and dancing at 8.
Reservations are $30 each person, with dinner; $20 without dinner. Send a check, payable to OHHS Class of 1980 Reunion, to 74 Sunday River Road, Bethel, ME 04217.

Legion dance
SOUTH PARIS — The Jones Dance Band will play old-fashioned dance music from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the Legion Hall on Church Street. The cost is $5. The lunch counter will be open.
