The Art Moves Dance Project has received a $5,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation for Art Moves into the Schools. The grant will allow 10-week residencies with shows in several local schools. The project will present “Back to Brasil” on Thursday, Aug. 19, at One Longfellow Square in Portland (761-1757) and Friday, Aug. 20, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris. Tickets are available at Books’n’Things. Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $12 in advance and for students/seniors and $15 at the door for adults. For more information, call 743-5569.
