Nature club

OXFORD — The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 9 a.m. Monday, August 2, in the Walmart parking lot (south side near Route 26) and will carpool to Kennebunkport to explore the garden and trails of St. Anthony’s Franciscan Monastery. Attendees should bring a picnic lunch.

Networking

OTISFIELD — The second annual Business Showcase/Neighborhood Networking Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Otisfield Community Hall on State Route 121. Admission is free.

Raffles will be drawn for prizes donated by local businesses and crafters to benefit the Community Hall Fund.

McAllister reunion

PARIS — A McAlister/McAllister family reunion will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at the First Baptist Church of Paris Hill. Those attending should bring a lunch and beverages. Dessert will be furnished. Memorabilia and vital records are requested.

Sidney Gordon of Norway will be guest speaker. He will bring his old pictures and postcard collection. There will be a 50/50 raffle. The reunion includes all allied families such as McKeen, Stearns, Durgin, Grover, Lord and Whitehouse.

Stretch time

BRYANT POND — Rise and Shine and Stretch with Nancy Willard will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Aug. 4 and 11, at the Whitman Memorial Library, downstairs. Stretching and strengthening exercises will be taught. It is free and open to the public.

Story time

WATERFORD — The Waterford Library will offer a story time program at 1 p.m. Mondays in August. It is planned to be particularly appropriate for kids age 2 to 6. The library is located on Routes 35 and 37 in Waterford Flat on Keoka Lake.
