Nicholas St. Hilaire, formerly of Lewiston, graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Sunrise, Fla., on May 30. He earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree and master’s degree in public health in 2010. He received a master’s degree in biomedical science in 2006.

On July 1, he began a five-year residency in general surgery at Botsford Hospital in Hunting Woods, Mich. The hospital is affiliated with Michigan State University.

St. Hilaire is the son of Daniel and Pauline St. Hilaire, formerly of Lewiston and now of Coral Springs, Fla.; and the grandson of Jeannine St. Hilaire of Lewiston and the late Pete St. Hilaire, and Hectorine Desjardin of Lewiston and the late Lucien Desjardin.
