PORTLAND —Roberta (Bobbi) Cribby, RN, BSN, MSN, director of Clinical Practice at Bridgton Hospital, recently presented a segment at the National Rural Health Association 2010 Quality and Clinical Conference. Her topic was “Patient Safety through Medication Reconciliation: A Maine CAH Story.”
The conference had an audience of physicians, nurses, hospital administrators and health -care leaders from around the country. Cribby’s presentation focused on the Bridgton Hospital’s medication safety program. It highlighted the Blue Folder Project, part of a major medication safety initiative funded through a Maine Health Access Foundation Grant.
The Bridgton Hospital project is under the direction of Cribby, Denyell Gerchman, RPh, pharmacist, Michael Lessard, RPh, pharmacist, and a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals.
