WASHINGTON — Patti Gagne, owner of the Patti Gagne Agency, Allstate Insurance, in Lewiston, recently competed in and won the Confidence While Communicating Speak-Off during the annual conference of the National Association of Insurance Women, International.

The Confidence While Communicating program is offered to members of NAIW, International, and allows participants to enhance communication skills.

Gagne completed the CWC program in 1998 and won the Region One speak-off competition in April in Manchester, N.H. She went on to compete at the national level with eight other regional winners, by presenting a three-minute prepared speech and completing a one-minute impromptu speech. Gagne was then named the 2010 National Speak-Off winner.
