NORWAY — A Norway man was charged Sunday evening following a two-vehicle crash on Route 118 in Norway.
Officer Jeffrey Campbell of the Norway Police Department said that Thomas Coore, 49, was charged with operating under the influence and operating without a license following the 6:23 p.m. crash.
Coore rear-ended a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Miranda Cobbett, 34, also of Norway.
Coore was eastbound on Route 118 behind Cobbett when she stopped for a dog in the road. Coore was unable to stop in time and hit Cobbett from behind, Campbell said.
Cobbett was taken to the hospital by family with minor injuries.
There were no damage estimates available for Cobbett’s Jeep and the 1995 Dodge Intrepid driven by Coore.
