LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice will offer several programs this fall to provide information and support to children and adults in central and western Maine grieving the death of a loved one.

Program sessions help participants understand the grief process, share feelings and experiences and find hope and comfort. All programs are led by trained bereavement volunteers and/or professional grief facilitators and are offered at no cost to participants.

Local programs include:

Program for Grieving Children and Teens: Sessions will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, beginning Sept. 23.

Pathways through Grief: Program will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays,  beginning Sept. 21.
