HARRISON — The female driver of a Ford passenger car was killed Wednesday morning in a collision near the intersection of the Temple Hill Road and Route 117.

Sheriff’s deputies from Cumberland County and fire and rescue crews from Bridgton, Harrison and Oxford responded to the scene of the crash.

Both vehicles involved, including the passenger car and a panel-type work van, appeared to have gone off the road and into the woods near the crash scene.

The names and ages of those involved in the accident were not immediately available. Officials at the scene said the investigation of the crash would involve a reconstruction of the mishap.
