LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Seniors resumed their weekly meeting on Sept. 13 at Murray Hall, with a light lunch provided by all present. Following the lunch at noon a short meeting was held with Shirley Couture presiding. There were 29 members present.
Loretta Chabot, Geraldine Richard and Shirley Toncer were welcomed back. During the summer, the group lost three members: Eugene Roy, Christine Harlow and Edith Guay.
The 50/50 was won by Aurelien Couture and a door prize made and donated by Theresa Bilodeau was won by Marilyn DeSoto. Shirley Couture announced that senior vouchers are still available, but the cost is now $4 each. The vouchers can still be used locally at the Chuck Wagon, as well as in Lewiston at the Central Maine Medical Center cafeteria if anyone is shopping in that area.
On Monday, Sept. 20, the group will hold a Chinese auction where one can bring food or other items to auction.
Following the meeting, those present played beano and other card games.
