Kaleb Boucher of Lisbon Falls and Lewiston has graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in earth science with a minor in anthropology. He ended his four years at the University of Maine with a grade point average of 3.86.

While at the university, he worked at the Hudson Museum for all four years, was the Geology Club’s president for his junior and senior year and won the best presentation at the annual meeting of the Geological Society of Maine in 2010.

Boucher recently returned from Washington state where he completed a three-month internship with the Cascades Volcano Observatory with the focus on Mount St. Helens.

He is the son of Daniel Boucher of Lewiston and Kymberlee Scott of Lisbon Falls. He is the grandson of Terry Dunning of Harpswell and the late Prescott Dunning, and Gerry Boucher and Julie Boucher.

He graduated from Lisbon High School in 2006.
