BATH, Maine (AP) — School officials in Bath, Maine, say someone smashed plate glass windows and computers at a local elementary school overnight.
The RSU 1 superintendent tells WGME-TV that a food service worker arriving Tuesday morning discovered that someone had trashed Fisher Mitchell Elementary School.
Classes were canceled, and police are on the scene.
Officials say several computers were destroyed, huge plate glass windows were smashed, an office was heavily damaged and graffiti was found all over the walls.
