SUMNER — An outdoor pavilion, built by members of the East Sumner Congregational Church along with friends and neighbors, will be dedicated on Saturday, Sept. 25.

The event is part of an all-day Harvest Festival. Festivities will begin at 9 a.m. and culminate with an outdoor concert at 1 p.m. by Kirk Talley, a Southern gospel singer who has won dozens of music awards. The concert is free.

During the day and until 2:30 p.m., there will be games and activities for children, including a moon bounce, face painting, pumpkins and more.

There will be jams, jellies, pumpkins and pies and a meal of hot dogs and bean hole beans for sale.

The church is located at 50 Main St. (Route 219) in East Sumner.
