Army Col. Timothy D. Chyma assumed Charter responsibilities as Program Executive Officer of Special Operations Forces Support Activity at Bluegrass Station, Lexington, Ky. His responsibilities include providing dedicated, responsive and cost effective contractor support to Special Operations Forces worldwide.

Chyma, a special forces officer, has served in the military for 23 years. He is the son of David E. and Donna K. Chyma of Moline, Ill.

His wife, Tara, is the daughter of Leroy Patten of Phillips, and Ann Hughes of Billerica, Mass.
