LEWISTON —  L/A Arts recently welcomed two new board members, Kate Casparius and Marnie Coleman.

Casparius resides in Greene and is the business manager of Maine Public Broadcasting Network. She has a strong background in finances and management, and will hold the position of treasurer for the board or directors. She also has a great love for the outdoors, education and the arts. As a watercolor artist, she said she is excited to be a part of an organization that fosters growth and education in the arts.

Coleman is originally from Seattle, Wash., but now lives in Auburn. She is the listings manager and a licensed realtor with Jan Jacques and Company at Keller Williams Realty Mid Maine, and is past president of the board of directors of the Androscoggin Land Trust.

She believes Lewiston-Auburn is a great place to live and enjoys being involved with community efforts that showcase the area’s many offerings. Additionally, with two children in the public schools, Coleman has a strong commitment to the Arts in Education programming of L/A Arts and looks forward to helping maintain and build the strong relationships that the local arts agency has developed with the local educational institutions.
