AUGUSTA — Nancy Marshall, principal of Nancy Marshall Communications, has announced that Katie Greenlaw of Lewiston has been hired as an account executive.

Greenlaw has several years of public relations and communications experience in higher education institutions, private business and nonprofits. Prior to NMC, she served as the director of public relations at Thomas College, where she managed the college’s media relations and communications program, served as editor-in-chief of the Thomas Magazine, and taught public relations, writing and editing classes for undergraduate students.

Prior to Thomas, she worked in the Institutional Advancement offices at Bates College and Colby-Sawyer College. She also serves as publicity chair for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Waterville.

She graduated summa cum laude from Thomas College with a bachelor of science degree in business management in 2002 and with an M.B.A. in 2010

In addition to developing and implementing strategic public relations and Internet marketing plans for clients, Greenlaw will also be a continuing contributor to the NMC Report, a bi-monthly public relations and marketing e-newsletter providing helpful tips and articles for individuals and businesses in Maine.
