Free lunch

MEXICO — The Greater Rumford Area Ministers Pantry Service will serve a free lunch at 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday at the Mexico Town Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend. The doors will open at 10 a.m. for coffee and snacks will be served at 11.

Church lunch

DIXFIELD — A public luncheon will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at the Dixfield Congregational Church.

The menu will consist of ham, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, apple pie and beverages. The cost will be $6 for adults and $3 for children under 6. This is the first of the church’s luncheon schedule which will be served on the second Sunday of the month.  

Craft fair

RUMFORD — The 18th annual Rumford Elementary School craft fair will be held There will be jewelry, knit ware, tote bags, wooden crafts, jams, jellies, pickles, holiday crafts, goat milk soap, quilted items, baskets and unusual crafts.

Refreshments and lunch will be available. The school will also have a bake sale table, raffle items and children’s crafts for sale. Proceeds will benefit the students.
