RUMFORD — The Stephens High School Class of 1951 will hold its monthly luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at the River Valley Grill. All classmates are welcome. For more information, call 364-8883.

Craft fair

RUMFORD — The 18th annual Rumford Elementary School craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the school on Lincoln Avenue.

There will be jewelry, knit ware, tote bags, wooden crafts, jams, jellies, pickles, holiday crafts, goat milk soap, quilted items, baskets and unusual crafts.

Refreshments and lunch will be available. The school will also have a bake sale table, raffle items and children’s crafts for sale. Proceeds will benefit the students.

Class to meet

MEXICO — Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at Dick’s Restaurant.

Auxiliary event

RUMFORD — The Ladies Auxiliary Unit 24 of the American Legion will host its third annual craft and food sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13. Tables are available for $15 each or $10 with a donation for the Chinese auction.

Nonperishable donations are also being accepted for the Comforts From Home Program for troops. Examples of items needed include chewing gum, flavored water packets, peanuts, beef jerky or hard candy. Call 364-2827 or 363-5665 for table reservations and further information.
