NORWAY — Several dozen former Stephens Memorial Hospital Auxiliary members were honored at a luncheon on Sept. 29 at the Bethel Inn and Country Club in Bethel.

Members ranging in age from 50 to 94 were on hand to celebrate each other, their contributions to the hospital and Auxiliary memorabilia.

Andrea Burns, Stephens Memorial Hospital trustee and former Auxiliary president, welcomed guests and thanked them for all they have done over the years to support the hospital stating that the luncheon was a, “tribute to you, your support, fundraising, volunteering and commitment to the hospital.”

The group was also addressed by Western Maine Health President and CEO Timothy Churchill who was happy to be on hand to, “celebrate the positive contributions of the Auxiliary over the years; we would not be where we are today without your contributions.”

Barbara Allen, vice president of development and community relations, closed the program thanking the past auxiliary members and reiterating their valuable contributions to the hospital.
