LEWISTON — The third session of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce four-session Energy Lunch and Learn Series will be held at the Chamber office, 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston, on Oct. 21.
Sponsored by the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, this session will address “Tax Law and Energy Improvements.” Local experts will discuss how the new tax law changes can impact an organization.
Presenters include Bryan M. Dench and Alan G. Stone of the Skelton, Taintor & Abbott law firm, and Philip Doucette of Austin Associates.
Dench is a shareholder and chairman of the board of directors of the firm of Skelton, Taintor & Abbott in Auburn, and has a varied practice, including a specialty in taxation.
Stone is also a shareholder and director of the firm and is its trial practice group leader. His areas of expertise include public utility, energy, telecommunications and regulatory.
A CPA with Austin Associates, Doucette has been with the firm since 1999, and works closely with clients from many industries playing a key role with clients within agricultural industries.
