A Lewiston physician will be a guest on the Thursday edition of “Donahue,” a syndicated television talk show.

Dr. Michael T. Drouin, a gynecologist, will be one of four people discussing the “Crisis in the Baby Delivery Business” on the popular talk show hosted by Phil Donahue.

Drouin said the show examines how medical malpractice insurance costs have had an impact on the availability of obstetrical services to women.

Drouin recently stopped delivering babies and limited his practice to gynecology because of steep increases in the cost of medical malpractice insurance for obstetricians.
