Harvest party

RUMFORD — Praise Assembly of God will host a Harvest Party from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, at the Linnell Motel and Conference Center. There will be games, crafts and music.

Admission is free and there will be a prize for the best harvest costume (no scary costumes). For more information, call 364-3856.

RUMFORD — Members of the Mexico High School Class of 1959 are invited to meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Brian’s Bistro.

Christmas fair

MEXICO — The Mexico Congregational United Church of Christ (the “Green Church”) will hold its annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6.

Fairgoers will be able to watch presses on the church lawn turning apples into cider, and there will be raffles, a bake sale with a cookie walk, handmade crafts and attic treasures. Two college students will offer activities for children in one of the Sunday School rooms. Coffee and muffins will be served from 9 to 11 a.m. and lunch at 11:30.

Class lunch

RUMFORD — Members of the Class of 1952 from Stephens High School will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at the River Valley Grill for their class lunch. All classmates and guests are welcome.
