WALES — Lakeside Chapter 60, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Grange-Masonic Building, 322 Centre Road.
The chapter will honor veterans, past matrons and past patrons of the Chapter.
On Oct. 28, Lakeside saw the grand officers from District 4, including associate grand matron, Stephanie Dupal; grand secretary, Corley Byras; grand chaplain, Bernard Tufts; grand marshal, Sandra Dunlap; district deputy grand matron of District 4, Judith Tufts; and two grand representatives: Janet Steeves of Golden Sheaf 114 in New Gloucester representing Connecticut and Stan Leighton of Lakeside representing North Dakota.
Three Shining Stars were also present: Pauline Poussard of Lakeside, Helen Shelton of Pine Cone and Esther Jean of Pioneer.
Guest officers on Oct. 28 were Stephen Broas as associate patron, Eleanor Peterson as organist and Patricia Rea as electa, all from Pine Cone Chapter in Auburn.
“Mustang Sally,” the travelling emblem, visited the Chapter and then went to Pine Cone Chapter in Auburn. A delegation from Lakeside went to the degree work in Auburn on Oct. 28 and took the emblem back.
There will be light refreshments after the meeting.
