Craft fair

RUMFORD — The Rumford Senior Citizens will hold a Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Senior Center. There will be crafts and food.

The next monthly meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, with a potluck at noon. The board will meet at 10 a.m. The Christmas party will be held Friday, Dec. 10. The deadline to sign up is Dec. 1.

Board meeting

AUBURN — Community Concepts Inc. will hold its board of directors meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the AVCOG building, 125 Manley Road. Members of the public are welcome to attend. For more information, call 739-6564.

Quilters

RUMFORD — The Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street. The fabric Christmas tree ornaments will be collected for the decorated tree RAQ is donating to the community Christmas Tree Festival.

Anyone wanting to make a special ornament at the meeting should bring a permanent glue stick; no other supplies will be needed. Show and tell welcome and all area quilters are invited. For more information, call 562-7050.

Veterans Day

RUMFORD — The VFW will have its annual Veterans Day program at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Rumford High School. Veterans will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Snowmobile club

ROXBURY — The Roxbury Slippery Sliders snowmobile club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the home of Sylvia Touchette. All members are urged to attend.
