RUMFORD — The wedding of Joelle Goodine and Wayne Parsons was held on Aug. 28 at the Rumford American Legion Hall. Mary Dunham of Avon, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Carroll and Fran Goodine of Peru. The bridegroom is the son of Lauraly and the late Wayne Parsons of Avon.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Julie Farmer of Jay, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Craig Bate of Phillips, good friend of the bridegroom, was best man.

The couple will continue to reside in Carthage.
