UNITY — Freshman forward Danielle McCusker scored a season-high 23 points as Central Maine Community College dismantled Unity College 93-19 in a Yankee Small College Conference tilt Wednesday.
Teira Durgin and Kayla Ellis paced a relentless Mustang defense with six steals apiece.
Ariel McConkey and Pernille Pedersen each hit for 13 points for the Mustangs (3-3), and Danielle Hebert registered 12.
In her first game back from injury, Emily Sabbine tallied eight points and six boards while Durgin finished with six points and five assists.
Lara Bico led the Rams (0-3) with five points and Chelsea Walsh added 4.
The victory snapped a two-game losing skid for the Mustangs, who are now 2-0 in conference competition.
