LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 16 were as follows: first/second tie, Mary Ann Trafton and Kathleen Burden with Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman; third, Jeanine Kivus and Fred Letourneau; fourth, Nancy Lindgren and Rosemarie Goodwin; first in B, Mary Ann Trafton and Kathleen Burden; second, Sue Kaluzynski and Roger Labbe.
Winners at Schooner Estates on Nov. 17 were: first, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; second, Tom Dahlberg and David Wallace; third/fourth/fifth tie, Lue Bilodeau and Alberta Turner, Anna Vitiello and Jim Smedley, Luke Merry and Paul Barber.
Games are played at 9 a.m. every Monday and Tuesday and at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.
Grange to meet
POLAND — Excelsior Grange 5 will meet on Saturday, Nov. 20, for a regular meeting at the hall located at 446 Harris Hill Road. Following the business meeting, decoration of the lower hall for the annual Christmas Fair will take place. The fair will be on Saturday, Nov. 27. All members are urged to attend to help with preparations.
Open house
MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Historical Society will hold its monthly open house from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20.
Frontiers of the Mind
LEWISTON — Frontiers of the Mind will meet at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at the Lewiston Public Library. Brenda Colfer will do a quartz crystal bowl chakra meditation.
