FREEPORT — Canadian Brass, renowned as one of the world’s most popular brass ensembles, will give three performances on Saturday, Nov. 27, at L.L. Bean’s Discovery Park.
The group’s repertoire includes standards such as the works of Renaissance and Baroque masters, classical compositions, Dixieland, Latin, jazz, big band, holiday favorites and a variety of original arrangements.
Performances will be at 5, 6 and 7 p.m.
Also, L.L. Bean’s Northern Lights celebration will continue throughout Thanksgiving weekend; and the Don Campbell Trio will perform at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, in the hunting and fishing store.
In addition, there will be old-fashioned horse and carriage rides, a holiday-themed enchanted forest and whimsical playhouses by Kids Crooked Houses in Discovery Park, and a Christmas tree and light sculptures designed by Pandora Lacasse.
