Grange to meet
DANVILLE — Members of Danville Junction Grange will meet for a potluck supper at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at the hall. A business meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
Members are reminded to bring small prizes for bingo, which will be played after the meeting. All members and guests are welcome.
Holiday fair
WINTHROP — Winthrop High School will hold its annual Holiday Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, in the Winthrop Grade School gymnasium.
There will be 30 vendors with crafts ranging from jewelry to candles and apparel. There will be raffles and homemade baked goods.
Bridge play
LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 23 were as follows: North and South, first, Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman; second, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; third, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn; first in B, Sue Kaluzynski and Donna Bartlett; second, Helen Little and Anna Vitiello.
East and West, first, Nancy Lindgren and Les Buzzell; second, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; third, Lorry and Fred Letourneau; first in B, Mary Ann Trafton and Kathleen Burden.

Accepting toys
LEWISTON — Hope Haven Gospel Mission, 209 Lincoln St., is accepting toys and games for distribution to needy families with children on Dec. 22 and Christmas day. For more information, call 783-6086.
Church fair
POLAND — Poland Community Church will hold a holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. There will be crafts, cheese, cookies, a luncheon, silent auction, twice nice and wreaths.
Grange fair
NEW GLOUCESTER — The Sabbathday Lake Grange will hold its annual Christmas craft fair and sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. There will be assorted crafts, cooked food, Rada cutlery, raffles, grab bags, books and white elephant.
A light lunch will also be available. The hall is located on Sabbathday Road, just off Route 26.
Christmas fair
WINTHROP — The Winthrop Congregational Church,UCC, will host Ye Olde Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.
There will be home baked foods, Christmas cookies, candy, jellies, crafts and other gifts. There will also be wreaths and winter evergreen sprays, silent auction items and a raffle.
Lunch will be available at 11 a.m. with lobster rolls, fish chowder, lasagna, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs. The building is accessible to all. Proceeds will benefit the church.
Santa’s Workshop
GREENE — The Universalist Church of Greene will hold its annual Santa’s Workshop Craft Fair from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the church, located on Route 202.
There will be baked goods, a raffle table, crafts and a white elephant table.
The Sunday School will also sell goodies along with hot chocolate and will have a raffle to raise money for the Heifer Project.
