Laurie Winsor of Androscoggin Home Care was the guest presenter at a program presented by the To Your Health Committee of the Western Mountains Senior College on Nov. 6 in Bethel. Winsor described caring for an aging family member as particularly challenging when adult children are faced with helping their aging parents come to terms with sudden changes that affect their health and ability to live independently. In her presentation, Winsor offered suggestions and resources on how to create the best home environment to support someone at home. A variety of resource materials were available. Participants Rosabelle Tifft, Melody Bonnema, Ellen Crocker and John Holliday collect resource materials and talk with Winsor, right.
