Seniors party

LEWISTON — The New Auburn Seniors held their annual Christmas party on Dec. 5 at the Carriage House, 1119 Lisbon St., with 147 seniors in attendance.

A buffet dinner was served. José Duddy provided the entertainment, singing songs from the 1950s and 1960s. Many prizes were given.

There will be no meetings during January and February. The next meeting will be held on March 2, 2011.

Bridge play

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Dec. 13 were as follows: first, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; second/third tie, Ellie and Lindy Wigton with Paul Sherman and Les Buzzell; fourth, Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry.

First in B, Ellie and Lindy Wigton; second, Marta Clements and Hazel Glazier; first in C, Ellie and Lindy Wigton; second, Cynthia and Bill Clifford.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Multi-Purpose Center and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Schooner Estates in Auburn. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.

Christmas parties will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 20, 21 and 22.
