Rebekah party
AUBURN — Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will gather at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, for a Christmas party in the activities room at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane.
All members are to bring snacks and Christmas songs, poems or stories. Donald Nason will provide music. In lieu of a gift exchange, cash donations for the Salvation Army food/oil bank will be collected. Pam Black, noble grand, has requested that all who attend wear green and/or red.
Grange Christmas
POLAND — The Christmas season will be observed during the program at the meeting of Excelsior Grange, 446 Harris Hill Road, on Saturday, Dec. 18. It will follow the business session beginning at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served and all members and friends of the grange are invited.
Market a success
POLAND — The Poland Historical Society reports the Holiday Market was a success and the society was able to raise funds for a Memorabilia Barn, to be built behind the District 22 Schoolhouse, Route 26.

Blue Christmas
LEWISTON — The Calvary United Methodist Church will hold a “Blue Christmas, Longest Night” program at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 59 Sabattus St. It will be a program of musical variety, interspersed with scripture readings and prayers of solace and hope.
Support celebration
LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at Central Maine Medical Center will hold its Cancer Wellness and Support Group annual holiday celebration from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 12 High Street, conference room I.
The celebration is open to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers and will feature music, refreshments and a Yankee gift swap. Those who would like to participate in the swap should bring a wrapped, gently used item with a value no greater than $10.

Pathway Christmas
LEWISTON — Pathway Vineyard Church invites all to “Christmas at Pathway,” a traditional celebration of the season featuring a choir, original music and a presentation by the youth of the Vineyard Christian School at 3 and 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24.
An 11 p.m. multi-lingual midnight service will also be held. Languages that will be spoken include Spanish, English, French, Tagalog and Russian. LEWISTON — Hope Have Gospel Mission, 209 Lincoln St., will offer a free Christmas dinner to those in need from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 25. Shut-ins who need delivery should call 783-6086.
