BREWER — The Edward Little boys’ basketball squad erupted for 23 points in the first quarter, then went on a 16-9 run in the second and pulled steadily away to post a 67-47 victory over Bewer in KVAC action Tuesday.
Bowen Leary led the Red Eddies (4-0) with 28 points and 10 rebounds. Quinn Leary made it a successful brother act with 16 points, while Timmy Mains added seven points and was credited with five assists.
Brewer (2-4) was paced by Ray Bessette with 18 points, while Jahi Sasaki chipped in with eight.

EL 58, Brewer 46
BREWER — After trailing by as many as four points during the first half, Edward Little used a 18-7 run in the third quarter to pull out a 58-46 victory over Brewer in KVAC girls’ basketball action.
Ashlee Arnold led the
Red Eddies (4-0) with 22 points, while Kori Norcross chipped in with 11 and Kate
Sawyer added nine points.
The Witches (2-3) were led by Holly Nickerson with a solid 12-point performance.
Oxf. Hills 42, Mt. Blue 32
FARMINGTON — Oxford Hills used a late-game rally to pull away from Mt. Blue and posted a 42-32 win in holiday vacation girls’ basketball action Tuesday.
Crissy Lewis led the Vikings with a game-high 18 points, while Abbie Eastman and Alex Rowe chipped in with eight points each.
The Cougars were paced by Gabby Foy with 14 points, while Liz Leclair and Megam Bullen each added five points.
Morse 63, Lawrence 15
BATH — The Morse girls’ basketball squad jumped out to a 23-9 lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 63-15 romp over Lawrence.
Nikoline Ostergard led the undefeated Shipbuilders (6-0) with 15 points, while Crystal Leavitt and Tori Field each added 12.
The Bulldogs (1-5) were paced by Jackie Poulin with six points.
