LEWISTON — HealthSteps, a health education and prevention program for adults that focuses on the whole person – body, mind and spirit, offers a wide range of classes with the core membership fee as well as a variety of specialty classes, including:

Anusara-Inspired Yoga: Open to new and experienced students. The class is a way to have fun while improving overall health, well-being, strength, flexibility and posture. Relieve muscle tension, stress, aches and pains. Instructor, Tisha Bremner; 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb.9 to March 9; Lepage Large Conference Room, 99 Campus Ave.; cost, $62.50.

Gentle Exercise: Designed for those with arthritis, recovering from cancer or any other individual who desires a mild form of exercise. It helps improve range of motion, strength, posture, balance and coordination. Instructor, Joanne Healey; 9:15 to 10 a.m., Tuesdays, Thursdays, Jan. 11 to Feb. 10; Activity Room at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, 102 Campus Ave.; cost, $24.

Health Coaching: Help with motivation, discipline or accountability to meet goals, daily stressors and fitness, health or nutrition information. Each session is private and confidential. Cost, $60 an hour.

Lose With Me!: 12-week weight loss session focused on helping make healthier lifestyle choices. Classes include goal setting, exercise recommendations, nutrition education and peer support. Mommy and Me Postnatal Yoga: Open to parents with children ages 6 weeks to 12 months. Bond with baby and meet other mothers. Learn fun yoga poses to do with baby, perform gentle stretches to regain mobility, start to strengthen core after childbirth, and develop a practice that includes deep relaxation. Osteoball: Exercising with the osteoball is easy to learn, non-intimidating and uses the same simple isometric resistive techniques astronauts use to keep fit while in space. The class is designed for individuals recovering from cancer, those who have bone and joint related conditions and other individuals who desire a mild yet effective form of resistance training. Instructor, Maria Pete; 11:15 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays, Jan. 24 to Feb. 23; second-floor physical therapy gym, Auburn Medical Bldg, 15 Gracelawn Road, Auburn; cost, $30.

Pilates: Mat class is an alternative workout designed to increase fitness level. Students can expect full-body strengthening with particular emphasis on the core musculature. Wear non-restrictive attire and bring a Pilates/yoga mat. Prenatal Yoga: Prepare mind and body for birth. Senior Fitness: One-hour class provides participants with a safe and effective workout that includes a warm-up, cardiovascular component, resistance training, balance and flexibility exercises. Tai Chi: Learn a simple form and supportive exercises to promote health and longevity, increased balance, better circulation, improved coordination, reduced blood pressure. Tennis: Registration began Dec. 29. Specific time slots available for registration from 6 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.

Tobacco Cessation Counseling, single session: Option for a self-motivated person who needs the resources to stop smoking. Cost, $45.

Tobacco Cessation Counseling, multi-session: With a smoking cessation coach, set a quit date and work through the quitting process. Many find the additional support to be an advantage to their stopping the use of tobacco. Cost, $75.
